Fergana State Technical University is carrying out systematic work to ensure the implementation of the tasks set at the videoconference dedicated to future priority tasks in the fuel and energy sector, and to train qualified specialists with modern knowledge and practical skills for the energy sector under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Within the framework of cooperation between the university and JSC "Regional Electric Networks", special attention is paid to the development of a dual education system aimed at seamlessly linking educational and production processes. Based on this system, students of the 3rd and 4th grades will have the opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge directly in production processes, develop practical skills at modern energy facilities, and form the necessary competencies for their future professional activities.

Through the implementation of dual education in practice, it is intended to ensure the adaptation of students to the production environment, train specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market, and align the content of education with real production needs.

Within the framework of cooperation, priority is also being given to the scientific study of existing problems in the energy sector, the application of research and development to production processes, and the development of innovative solutions for the sector.
